Terms & Conditions
1) All of my rabbits are doubled maned purebred lionhead rabbits, coming from quality lines. I cannot guarantee that they will be show quality... but I can guarantee that they will be gorgeous <3
2) I will not sell any rabbits under 10 weeks of age, but any available rabbits can be reserved from 6 weeks old. If you would like to reserve a rabbit from me, I require a £10 non-refundable deposit, which you can pay via paypal or by post.
3) You can collect your new rabbit from me in person, or you can organise a courier to collect. Many breeders recommended Simon Fox (http://newhartwinstud.webs.com/animalcourier.htm), and I have personally used ‘Animal Courier’ (http://animalcourier.co.uk/).
4) If you collect your rabbit in person, you must bring with you a suitable pet carrier or a strong and secure box.
5) All rabbits will leave with a week’s worth of changeover food, and some hay for the journey home. It is very important that you keep feeding your new rabbit on the diet it has been given prior to leaving as rabbits are very sensitive to dietary changes, due to their unique way of digesting food.
6) I feed all my rabbits on Supa Rabbit Excel, Junior & Dwarf nuggets, along with a constant supply of meadow hay. They also eat a variety of vegetables and readi grass, and as a treat receive banana, apple and commercial rabbit treats (e.g. pets at home brand).
7) If you wish to change the food to another brand of your choice, then you must do this gradually over an approx 7-10 day period, adding the new food bit by bit each day to the original food. This will give the G.I. tract time to adjust to the new food, and reduce the risk of illness (rabbits can become very ill after a sudden dietary change and this can be fatal to young rabbits).
8) As I am a member of the British Rabbit Council, I can ring the rabbit for you if you let me know before it leaves. Rabbits intended for pet homes will not be rung.
9) I will not sell a rabbit to anyone under 16 years old, so if you are under this age make sure that your parent, guardian, etc has read through this sales policy and that they come with you to collect your new rabbit.
10) Please ensure that you have researched the general husbandry/care of a rabbit (read through the ‘Rabbit Care’ section, and further research) as it is crucial that you know how to look after your new pet.
11) I can refuse the sale of a rabbit at any time, as I want to make sure my rabbits go to the best possible homes.
12) All my rabbits will leave with any relevant BRC paperwork and changeover food. Never hesitate to contact me after you've taken your new rabbit home if you have any questions or just want to chat about your bunnie :) I'm always happy about updates & photos showing how they are growing, etc. It's lovely!
